If you are a user of d6 software, you can join our d6 Forum Community on the d6 Communicator. By having access to this community in your app, you can ensure you stay up to date with relevant information about the product. It is your go-to for knowing about training, events, new features and tips to utilise it to its full potential.

Looking At What Is Available Already: AI In The d6 Communication Product
For System Administrators
AI has been a part of our Communication product for some time. Did you know that school administrators who use our Communicator Portal can utilise AI to help generate the text of their message by putting in a simple prompt like “Write a letter to parents, about Civvie Day on January 31, 2026.” Within seconds, you will have professional content to edit and post for all your community members to see.
For Parents
We are also excited to introduce our AI Assist feature in our d6 Communicator App, a built-in virtual assistant developed to help parents find information more easily based on what a school has uploaded.
If your community has sufficient content in the app and has activated the AI Assist feature, parents will have a virtual assistant at their fingertips to quickly find specific messages or events, or get answers about events and resources. For instance, you can ask questions like: “When are the junior choir performances?” or “When is the grade 1 field trip?”
Looking Ahead: More AI Features Are Coming to d6
One of the biggest highlights of early 2026 is the launch of new AI-powered features within our Admin & Curriculum Management Modules. We believe this will be a game-changer, enabling you to ask your d6 School Management System questions to make better, faster decisions and save valuable time.
Imagine having the power to get immediate answers, such as: “Which learners were absent the most in January 2026?”
