We’ve been on a mission to create a truly unified, simpler, and more intuitive experience across all d6 platforms. This latest update for our mobile apps is the next big step in that journey.
Our core goal for this new look and feel is simple: to simplify your life and help you find exactly what you need, fast.
The d6 Communicator has received a vibrant new design, enhancing your navigation and making it easier than ever to find vital communications. We focused on what truly matters: helping you identify what needs your immediate attention, without any digging or filtering.
The d6 Communicator now presents clear, actionable information right on your screen. No more hunting; the app does the work for you! All your favourite features are still here but have been thoughtfully improved for an even better user experience.
Introducing Our New AI-Powered Feature: AI Assist
We’re also excited to introduce a powerful new feature designed to save you time: our new built-in Virtual Assistant.
This is a feature we’ve developed for users, powered by AI, to help you find information more easily based on what your school has uploaded. If your community has activated the AI Assist feature, you’ll have a virtual assistant at your fingertips to help you quickly:
- Find specific messages or events.
- Get answers about events and resources.
- For example: “When are the junior choir performances?” “When is the grade 1 field trip?”
One App, All Your Communications
We’re excited to announce that the d6 Communicator is becoming your single, go-to app for all school communication — bringing everything you need into one easy-to-use place. With its refreshed design, smoother navigation and improved functionality, staying connected has never been simpler or more seamless.
As a school, there are no changes required on your end. Parents currently using the d6 Connect App will be prompted to download the d6 Communicator.
