  • What if I don't have a Android or iOS device?
    1. Visit www.d6communicator.mobi
    2. Register an account
    3. Activate your account by clicking on the link within the email received
    4. Log in to the mobi site
    5. Select your organisation from the list of organisations
  • My Communicator is stuck on registration?
    This is usually due to security settings preventing the Communicator from accessing our server, and normally occurs when installing on a company network.

    Please contact us so that we can assist you directly.

  • My Communicator is not updating?
    When did you install the Communicator? Please keep in mind that the Communicator can take around half an hour to update content, depending on how much has been loaded by the organisation. Please also make sure that you have selected the correct channels in the Personalise tab.

    Security settings could be blocking content from updating. Please contact us so that we can assist you directly.

  • How do I uninstall the Communicator?
    Windows Operating System:

     

    1. Press the Windows button and R and it will bring up the “Run” window.
    2. Type Control Panel in this search field and press Enter.
    3. Now click on “Programs and Features”.
    4. It might take a while for the list to populate.
    5. Scroll down the list until you see the Communicator, then click “Uninstall” to remove from your computer.

    Mac Operating System:

    1. Stop the application in the activity monitor by finding the process (it will start with ‘d6’) and clicking on the stop button. If you do not know where to find your Activity Monitor, click on the Spotlight search button at the top right of your screen and type Activity Monitor in the search bar.
    2. Now remove the application by simply dragging the appropriate folder from your “Applications” folder into the trash.
    3. You will also need to remove stored d6 files that are not auto deleted when you trash the application. To do so hold down the option/alt key and click on the “Go” tab. Click on “Library” in the drop down then “Application Support” then “com.d6technology”. In this will be a folder for d6_xxxx.
    4. Delete the whole d6_xxxx folder
